Trekking in Nepal

Northern region of Nepal is perhaps the prime trekking and mountain climbing destination in the world. This is the land of Mt Everest, the world's tallest peak and other mountains.

A special permit is required for some remote destinations such as upper Mustang trekking, Dolpo trekking, Kanchenjunga trekking etc.

Trekking Permit: No permit required for Everest trekking, Langtang trekking & Annapurna  trekking instead have to pay nature conservation fee. A climbing permit is required for peak climbing and special climbing permit is required for moutains over 8000 meters.

Trekking Guide : It is recommended to have trekking guide during your trekking trip. However, trekking guide is not authorised to make reservation of the trip, tour etc by law.
