All Bhutan visa clearance is made from department of Immigration, Thimpu, Bhutan. Visa clearance from Thimphu must be obtained before entering to Bhutan. Visa clearance takes at least 7-10 working days to complete. Visa clearance letter is required to enter Bhutan . At your point of entry the Bhutan travel visa will be stamped in your passport.
Visa fee is US$ 20 and two passport photos will also be required. Now each traveler need to pay additional US$ 10 for tourism development fund. Visas are issued for a 15 days period; extensions can be obtained in Thimphu at a cost of Nu.510 |
