Day 01- Arriving Kathmandu

Arrive into Kathmandu. Upon arrival into Kathmandu, you will meet our local tour expert and transfers to your local hotel. Overnight Kathmandu

Day 02-Kathmandu

Breakfast includes each day. Enjoy the brief city tour of Kathmanu which includes Kathmandu Durbar (Palace) Square, temple of living goddess-Kumari, Temple of Taleju, Kal Bhairab temple, temple of Akash Bhairab. Tour continues to Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath (the temple of Hindus), Boudhanath and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 03-Kathmandu to Lhasa

Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast in Kathmandu. Our representative will be in hand to transfer you to airport on arrival in Tibet drive to hotel.

Day 04-Lhasa

This morning visit Potala Palace- one of the most famous architectural works of Tibet. It was rebuilt in In 17th century  to present size. Ever since became the winter palace of Dalai Lamas. The construction took 50 years from its beginning to completion.

Tour continue to Jokhang temple located in the center of old section of Lhasa. The temple was built in mid 7th century a.d. The temple has architectural features of Tang Dynasty. It assimilated very much features from Both Nepalese and Indian Buddist temples. Walk around Bharkhor bazaar- an old Tibetan Market at end of the tour.

Day 05-Explore Drepung and Sera Monastery

This morning drive to Drepung Monastery which is located 5 km west suburb of Lhasa. The monastery was founded in 1416 and occupying area of 250000 square meters with a fixed number of 7000 monks. This is the largest monastery in Tibet. The monasery keeps plentiful historical relics, Buddhist scriptures arts and crafts.

We continue driving to Sera monastery that located 3 km to the northern suburb of Lhasa. It was founded in 1419 by Jamchen Choje-the founder of Gelugpa sect. Sera Monastery together with Ganden, Drepung in Lhasa are known the three great Monasteries of Tibet. Evening enjoy your own or leisure or last minute shopping

Day 06-Lhasa to Gyantse (3650m/262km/5-6hours)

After breakfast we start our journey through Branmaputra river. Than we cross Gonggar, Kampala(4850m), Yamdok Tso, along the Nekartse and we continue drive to Korola (5010m).

Day 07-Gyantse to Shigatse (3900m/77km/2hours)

In the morning enjoy tour of Panchen Lama’s Monastery Tashilumpu located in the town of Shigatse. It is known as one of the most beautiful monastery in Tibet. It has giant statue stands 26 meters in height and 275 kg of solid gold. The great quantities of precious things such as pearls, turquoises, corals and Ambers also preserved in the monastery.

Later short drive through farmland to Gyantse. We visit Palcho Monastery- located in Gyantse town. Palcho Monastery has special influence in Tibet’s Buddism. The Palcho is being a unity of three different sects, Gelugpa, Shakyapa and Bhuton sect, in one single monastery. Tour continues to Kumbum Pagoda. The Kumbum is  known as 100,000 image pagoda that stands nine storeys with its 108 doors and 77 chapels. It  contains clay sculptures and various murals. Tour ends around 5 pm and drive to hotel.

Day 08-Shigatse to Saga (3850m/450km/6-7hours):

Today we catch again Friendship Highway, drive through Sangsang, Kaika to Lhatse. We continue driving through Younonla than to Shigatse

Day 09-Saga to Manasarovar Lake (4590m/252km/5-6hours)

Each day we start our journey after breakfast. Today we drive through far west of Shigatse province and enter to Ngari province of western Tibet. Continue drive through Nyogze  to Manasarovar Lake. You will cruise Mayum La (5225m) from where you can have impresive scene too.

Day 10-Manasarovar Lake-Darchhen (4500m/40km/45 minutes)

This morning enjoy around Manasarovar Lake. You can take bath in Holy water of Manasarovar Lake and do praying for yourself and your family. Later we drive to Darchhen and prepare for your Kora of Mt Kailash. Overnight at Darchhen.

Day 11-Darchen-Kora

Kailash Kora is an exciting 3-day trek around the sacred Mt. Kailash (6714m/22156ft). We circle around the mountain in the following three days to appreciate its beautiful scenery, explore its historical sites. Experience the mountain’s religious significance. Drive up to Tarboche and trek up to Diraphuk Gompa. We continue walking for a few kilometers before ascending to a cairn from where the southern face of Mt. Kailash comes into view.

Day 12-Kora

Today is the second day of our three-day Kora and the toughest part of our journey. We continue the trek around Mt. Kailash and cross Dolma La pass (5604m) which is the highest point of the Kora. We can do a short prayer at Dolma la. Today we  visit the Gauri Kunda which is an important place for the Hindu pilgrims

Day 13- Kora to Payang

After the completion of Kora, we drive to Payang. Overnight in Payang.

Day 14- Paryang to Saga (4700m/252km/5-6hours)

Day start with traveling through picturesque Tibetan plaetau. In your south you will see great Himalayan range and scenery on other side.

Day 15 Saga to Shigatse (3850m/450km/6-7hours):

Today we catch again Friendship Highway, drive through Sangsang, Kaika  to Lhatse and continue driving through Younonla  to Shigatse.

Day 16- Shigatse to Lhasa (3650m/262km/5-6hours).

After breakfast we drive to Saga to follow the friendship highway toward Lhasa.

Day 17- Lhasa to Kathmandu

Sadly your tour concludes this morning after breakfast in Tibet. Our representative will be in hand to transfer you to airport on arrival in Kathmandu drive to hotel. Tonight is our final get-together and we enjoy a special dinner with Nepalese dance and wine.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 18- Departure

Your itinerary ends in Kathmandu, where you can choose one final optional adventure, depart for your next destination beyond Himalayas. Or start your journey home with
