Chitwan National Park
The oldest and the first national park of Nepal located in Chitwan valley occupying an area of 932 sq km. The national park is famous for the wild animals like rhinos and tigers. The habitat of the park consists of open grassy lands as well as thick forests. Besides rhinoceros and tigers, other animals abundant in the park includes leopard, sloth bear, samber, spotted deer, porcupine, barking deer, dolphins, crocodiles, Gharials, hog-bear and black bear. This is also the best maintained national park in the country and attracts a large number tourist each year.
