She-phoksundo National Park

The largest national park (3,555 sq km) of Nepal in Dolpa. The park is named after the historical She-gumpa and the famous Phoksundo lake (deepest lake in the country), combined. The national park has a trans Himalayan eco system representing a typical Tibetan types of flora and fauna. The animals reported in the park include blue sheep, musk deer, Himalayan weasel, marmot etc. The rare snow leopard is also reported here.
