Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is a short scenic trek near Pokhara. This short trek does not require advanced trekking experience. However, independent trekking is not recommended. Always travel with a local expert like us because of the wilderness trail of the trip.

We travel to Pokhara and continue to Lumle. We start our trek from Lumle toward the Kalsee Eco Lodge. On the first day you will enjoy the eco-lodge experience with a magnificent view of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Mt Fishtail, etc. The following day we start trekking through Deurali, Forest Camp, Low Camp, Badal Camp, High Camp, Mardi Camp and so on.

this trek was a great way to get a taste of Nepal without having to allocate 2 weeks or more. We visited the local villages and toured Kathmandu. The trek was great, the mountain views wonderful and the tea houses all original. Our guide and porter were the best, really added the local flavor.

Our Mardi Himal trek was awesome. From the Eco Lodge to Mardi Himal Viewpoint we all had a great taste of Himalaya Trekking. The Trek was so very enjoyed due to our accompanying porters who kept us on track, tour guide and interpreter to the TeaHouse owners. Again, we want to return for additional trekking as our appetites want more of this amazing experience. BTW, the pizza at High Camp made with Yak cheese is the best pizza ever tasted!!!
