Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest): Monastery is built amazingly on cliff. It is said, Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of Tigress and meditated at this monastery. Hence it is also known as Tiger’s Nest. The site has been recognized as most sacred and visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. The hiking up to the Taktsang takes 3-4 hours at normal walking speed.
