Everest View Short Trek
Are you looking for a short trek to take a closer view of Everest? The Everest View short trek is a trip that includes 5 days of gentle hiking with lots of great scenery, and a closer view of Mt Everest.
Further Lobuche, Amadabalam, Sherpa villages, and even the opportunity to observe Yeti’s scalp preserved in Khumjung Monastery. The trip is all-inclusive and escorted by an experienced English-speaking trekking guide and the support of local porters.
ITINERARY
Day 01, Flight to Lukla then hike to Phakding
You will be picked up from your hotel and take an early morning flight to Lukla. On arrival in Lukla, you will be met with our crew and travel to Phakding (3-4 hours). Overnight in Phakding.

Day 02, Trek to Namche
After breakfast, we cross the bridge over the Dudhkoshi River and travel along the river to Banker then again cross the river and travel the other side of the river to Larga and steeply ascend to Namche. Overnight in Namche.

Day 03, Trek to Khumjung Valley
After breakfast in the early morning, we steeply hike to Khumjung or Syangboche hill viewpoint. Early you arrive better view is expected.
You will be served tea/coffee with cookies in the Everest View Hotel while viewing Mt Everest. After a closer look at the mountains, we descend down to Khumjung Village.
After lunch, you can have ample opportunity to tour the village and Khumjung Monastery where Yeti’s scalp is preserved ( entry fee Rs 300 ). Overnight in Khumjung.

Day 04, Trek back to Phakding
Early morning take a short hike to a viewpoint to observe the sunrise view over Mt Everest and other mountains. After breakfast, travel to Khunde villages and descend down to Namche, Monjo, and Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 05, Trek back to Lukla
After breakfast back to Lukla. You will have the opportunity to tour around Lukla if you arrive on time. Just hang around Lukla have a beer or coffee etc.

Day 06, Trip concludes
In the early morning take a short flight to Kathmandu. Your trip concludes this morning.
