Days 1 - 2

Explore Netherland's historic capital Amsterdam, the sea and the mills

The exchange program will kick off in our capital, Amsterdam, with a attractions like the Rijksmuseum, taking canal boat rides, and admiring iconic landmarks. The itinerary also includes a day trip to Dutch windmills and the sea, offering insights into the Netherlands' water management history.
Throughout the program, our aim is to provide you with an authentic glimpse into the life of a typical Dutch student. This will involve visits to two schools, allowing you to partake in classes and gain insights into the Dutch educational framework. Additionally, you will have the chance to reside with host families for a minimum of three nights and experience a complete host family day to immerse yourself in Dutch culture.

Aachen and Valkenburg visit

Following eventful school days, the next thrilling adventure awaits with cultural excursions to Valkenburg and Aachen: Explore the castle and underground manmade caves in Valkenburg, a city rich in medieval history. Enjoy a day trip to Aachen, an ancient German city, to visit the famous Aachen Cathedral. Experience standing in three countries simultaneously at the unique "Three-Country Point" where the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany meet.

Days 8

Nature day

During our nature day, we will visit a recycling company to delve into the waste management practices of the Netherlands. Following this, we will take a tour of a water purification plant and venture into a nature reserve. If the weather is favorable, there is a possibility of aiding forest rangers with reserve upkeep. This day is centered around the Nature Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), allowing ample opportunity to converse about the obstacles we encounter and share innovative ideas.
One day, we will venture into Maastricht, the principal city of the southern province. With its ancient origins dating back to the Roman Empire, you can explore its enchanting history at your leisure. On a different day, we will visit a vocational school that focuses on sports and health. This day is dedicated to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. You will participate in various sports, attend first aid workshops, and learn about the Dutch healthcare system.
